Chapter Scholarship Program

The PMI-SNC Scholarship Program is dedicated to advancing the professional growth of our members by increasing access to project management education, training, and globally recognized certifications. By reducing financial barriers and expanding opportunities for continuous learning, the program strengthens leadership capabilities and promotes excellence in organizational leadership within our community.

Through this initiative, we also proudly recognize and reward meaningful engagement, volunteerism, and contributions to the Chapter, reinforcing our commitment to fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and high-performing professional network.

Eligibility and Process

This program is open to all PMI-SNC members in good standing. However, individuals serving on the Chapter Board at the time of application or award are not eligible. Special consideration will be given to the following groups: General Members, Students, Military, and Volunteers. Up to 5 scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $500 each based on annual funding availability.

Application

The application period will be announced and open for no less than 30 days. After reviewing program details, interested individuals will submit their application via the form link below.

Evaluation

An independent committee comprised of Board Members and/or Volunteers will score the applications based on the criteria below. Each submission's weighted totals will be averaged and ranked for use in final selection.

Selection and Acceptance

The Board will formally approve the scholarship awardees at which time they will be notified and have 15 days to accept and provide necessary information to receive payment. Recipients will not be required to provide any documentation on use of funds after disbursement.
