A native New Yorker who made the bold move to Las Vegas in the early 2000s, Miriam has spent her life embracing change and growing with each new chapter. With a growth mindset and boundless positive energy, Miriam’s journey has been marked by a constant evolution in both her personal and professional life.
After years of exploring various professions, Miriam found her true calling as a third-grade teacher at a local charter school. There, her curiosity flourished as she worked with young minds, and a new version of herself emerged—one driven by the power of kind leadership. Each year brought new challenges, from shifting policies and curricula to welcoming new families. But Miriam’s ability to pivot and adapt allowed her to create successful and nurturing classrooms year after year.
In 2021, Miriam concluded her career in education, having discovered a deep passion for leadership in the tech industry. She made the bold leap into Information Technology, where she led a software and hardware asset management team in Colorado. Unfortunately, her time with the company was cut short when she was laid off in 2023, but rather than seeing this as a setback, Miriam embraced it as an opportunity for growth. During this time, she earned valuable credentials and refined her vision for the future.
Her journey then led her to the PMI Mile Hi Chapter in Colorado, where she became the Director of Mentorship. In this role, Miriam served as a key point of contact for new members seeking professional growth and guidance, helping them to chart their own paths to success.
Now back in Las Vegas, Miriam’s curiosity remains insatiable, and her desire for new connections continues to fuel her personal and professional endeavors. Always ready for the next pivot, Miriam’s story is one of resilience, adaptability, and a deep commitment to continuous learning.
