2025 Board Election Candidates

I am excited to submit my candidacy for the Vice President of Administration position for the Southern Nevada Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI-SNC). This role presents a meaningful opportunity for me to give back to an organization that has provided me with invaluable connections and learning experiences.

With a background in project management, cybersecurity, and compliance, I bring a strong foundation in governance, strategic leadership, and process optimization. As the Founder and President of Hale Consulting Solutions LLC, I have led large-scale initiatives for healthcare and cybersecurity organizations, helping them improve compliance, streamline operations, and manage risk​. These skills align directly with the responsibilities of this role, from maintaining chapter records and ensuring PMI compliance to optimizing administrative processes for better efficiency.

Holding PMP, ACP, and DASSM certifications, I am well-versed in PMI’s frameworks and best practices​. My experience leading complex, high-impact projects has equipped me with the ability to support the Board in executing strategic initiatives, maintaining governance standards, and enhancing digital tools for better communication and operational effectiveness. I am particularly passionate about leveraging technology and process improvements to enhance organizational efficiency, which I believe could bring added value to the chapter’s administrative functions.

Beyond my professional expertise, I am deeply committed to fostering collaboration and community engagement within PMI. Having personally benefited from PMI’s network of professionals, I am eager to contribute my time and skills to ensure that other members continue to have opportunities to connect, learn, and grow.

I would love the opportunity to bring my skills and experience to serve the PMI Southern Nevada Chapter. I look forward to the possibility of working alongside the Board and membership to continue building a strong, engaged community. Thank you for your consideration.

I have worked in Project and Program Management for the entire duration of my 12-year career in the Casino, Financial Services, and Medical industries in publicly traded, privately held, and startup organizations. I am very passionate about the Project Management discipline and have greatly enjoyed opportunities to mentor, teach, and lead domestic and global teams. My experience encompasses leading business and technology projects and programs with acquisition marketing strategy, data governance and compliance, software development, enterprise agile transformation initiatives, delivery management, and production management. I hold multiple professional certifications as a Project Management Professional, Agile Certified Practitioner, Professional Product Owner, Certified Scrum Master, and currently preparing for the Program Management Professional certification.

One of the most rewarding parts of my career has been to see teammates grow in their knowledge of Project Management and excel within either my team, grow with other teams in the organization, or take the next step with their career growth in another organization. My philosophy and approach to all projects has been that I am not going to succeed if those around me are not set up to succeed. With this methodology I have been able to build and lead teams of varying size, scale, and location that have translated to high-quality implementations and growth/retention/application of Project Management knowledge bases.

I am a quick learner and take pride in being a servant leader as well as adhering to policies and processes to ensure optimal outcomes for all project teams I have been part of. I believe I would be a great asset to the PMI Southern Nevada Chapter as the VP of Administration as my goal is to help professionals develop and refine their careers by bringing more awareness to the Project Management discipline and how the knowledge base can be applied to any field of practice. In my free time I enjoy cooking, watching hockey with my family (go Knights), and spending time with my wife and our two dogs.

As a Director of Project Management, I’ve experienced firsthand how transformative PMI’s resources and community can be. The knowledge, mentorship, and connections I’ve gained through PMI have fueled exponential growth in my own career and it’s that impact that inspires in me a desire to give back and develop others.

If elected as VP of Professional Development, I would be committed to partnering closely with chapter members, fellow board members, and community partners to deliver top-tier professional development opportunities. From certification support to mentorship and engaging events, I would aim to create programming that empowers our members to grow, lead, and thrive in their careers.
