Hello and thank you in advance for your consideration to serve as your VP of Technology.
I am a results-driven Executive Leader and PMP with over 22 years of distinguished service in the U.S. Navy and currently serving as the Chief Technical Officer in the private sector. Throughout my career, I have managed high-stakes technical programs from overseeing large global programs to architecting effective frameworks in the defense sector. My ability lies in transforming complex technical requirements into actionable, documented, and secure business processes.
I am putting my name in the hat for a chance to serve as VP of Technology because I believe our chapter’s success depends on the strength of not just the members but also in its digital foundation. I want to ensure that our volunteers have the right access to the tools they need, every member has a seamless site experience, and our chapter’s data stays protected by industry-leading cybersecurity standards.
I ask for your vote to help drive the technical evolution of our chapter.
I am running for re-election for the role of VP Administration so that I can continue to serve the Southern Nevada Chapter by bringing awareness to the Project Management discipline and expanding the knowledge base for application to any field of practice. I have worked in Portfolio, Program, and Project Management for 13 years across Casino, Financial Services, Medical, and Real Estate industries in publicly traded, privately held, and startup organizations. I am very passionate about the Project Management discipline and have greatly enjoyed opportunities to mentor, teach, and lead domestic and global teams. My experience encompasses leading business and technology portfolios and programs with acquisition marketing strategy, software development, data governance and compliance, AI initiatives, enterprise agile transformation implementations, change management, and creating/evolving PMOs. I hold multiple professional certifications as a Portfolio Management Professional, Program Management Professional, Project Management Professional, PMO Certified Professional, Agile Certified Practitioner, Professional Product Owner, and Certified Scrum Master.
I am excited to submit my candidacy for the Vice President of Administration position for the Southern Nevada Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI-SNC). This role presents a meaningful opportunity for me to give back to an organization that has provided me with invaluable connections and learning experiences.
With a background in project management, cybersecurity, and compliance, I bring a strong foundation in governance, strategic leadership, and process optimization. As the Founder and President of Hale Consulting Solutions LLC, I have led large-scale initiatives for healthcare and cybersecurity organizations, helping them improve compliance, streamline operations, and manage risk. These skills align directly with the responsibilities of this role, from maintaining chapter records and ensuring PMI compliance to optimizing administrative processes for better efficiency.
Holding PMP, ACP, and DASSM certifications, I am well-versed in PMI’s frameworks and best practices. My experience leading complex, high-impact projects has equipped me with the ability to support the Board in executing strategic initiatives, maintaining governance standards, and enhancing digital tools for better communication and operational effectiveness. I am particularly passionate about leveraging technology and process improvements to enhance organizational efficiency, which I believe could bring added value to the chapter’s administrative functions.
Beyond my professional expertise, I am deeply committed to fostering collaboration and community engagement within PMI. Having personally benefited from PMI’s network of professionals, I am eager to contribute my time and skills to ensure that other members continue to have opportunities to connect, learn, and grow.
I would love the opportunity to bring my skills and experience to serve the PMI Southern Nevada Chapter. I look forward to the possibility of working alongside the Board and membership to continue building a strong, engaged community. Thank you for your consideration.
Southern Nevada is one of the most distinctive professional ecosystems in the country. Gaming, entertainment, hospitality, and fintech converge here at enterprise scale, producing some of the most complex technology programs and operational transformations in the world.
I've spent 15+ years embedded in those industries, leading high-stakes delivery programs where the margin for error is zero and executive expectations are unrelenting. I understand how these organizations think, what they value, and what it takes to earn a seat at the table.
I know this community because I've lived and worked within it. And I'm ready to use that experience to expand what PMI Southern Nevada can offer.
As a board volunteer currently serving as Director of Membership, I've developed a clear picture of our chapter's landscape and the untapped communities we haven't yet reached. I am a confident public speaker and experienced business development professional, and I know how to open doors, start conversations, and turn them into lasting relationships. My goal is a strategy that creates lasting connections with employers, universities, and the diverse communities that make Southern Nevada unique.
I also bring a perspective that's deeply personal. As a first-generation Latin American and proud Marine veteran spouse, I understand what it means to navigate professional spaces where you don't always see yourself reflected. Southern Nevada has a vibrant military community, a richly diverse workforce, and professionals at every stage of their career, and I'm committed to making sure our outreach strategy reaches all of them, not just the ones already in the room.
At the end of the day, this role is about service: to our members, to our community, and to the profession we all believe in. That's what drives me.
As a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), I bring both the credentials and the conviction this role requires. My time volunteering with this chapter has shown me what it is capable of, and I'm committed to being part of building that future for the long haul. PMI Southern Nevada has the potential to be the most connected, most visible, and most inclusive chapter in the region. Let's build it together.
Hi, I would love to continue to contribute to PMI-SNC in the new VP of Outreach position. To support the chapter in a progressively higher level than my current role as Director of Military Outreach.
Over the past two years serving as the Director of Military Outreach for PMI-SNC, I have been deeply committed to expanding the chapter’s visibility and strengthening its engagement with the veteran community across the Las Vegas Valley. During this time, I built relationships with multiple veteran-focused organizations, coordinated outreach opportunities that increased PMI-SNC’s presence at community events, and organized veteran networking socials that brought together service members and veterans interested in project management.
If chosen for the VP of Outreach position, I believe I can continue to keep the Outreach trajectory moving forward along with increased visibility by working with existing and new organizations in the Las Vegas Valley.
Using the information and from my learned experience, I would help expand the outreach program by leveraging established networks and working closely with our Outreach Directors.
Continuing in my current role as VP of Programs for PMI SNC is a natural and strategic extension of both my professional experience and my commitment to the chapter’s success. Over the course of my tenure, I have demonstrated a strong track record in delivering high-impact programs and contributing meaningfully at the board level. This experience has not only strengthened my leadership capabilities but also equipped me with a deep understanding of the chapter’s operational dynamics, member expectations, and long-term goals.
Having already served as a dedicated board member, I bring valuable “insider” knowledge that is particularly important as the chapter navigates the 2026 Proposed Bylaws and continues its current phase of growth. This continuity in leadership ensures stability, preserves institutional knowledge, and enables more effective execution of strategic initiatives without the disruption of a steep learning curve.
Beyond organizational impact, this role also plays an important part in my personal and professional development. It allows me to build meaningful connections within the local project management community and stay closely aligned with the evolving job market. These connections not only benefit me individually but also enhance the relevance and quality of the programs I help deliver.
As someone who is naturally introverted, serving as VP of Programs has pushed me to step outside my comfort zone in a constructive way. Whether it’s identifying and engaging with potential speakers, securing event venues, or fostering partnerships, the role continuously challenges me to grow. This personal stretch translates into stronger outreach, more diverse programming, and ultimately a richer experience for chapter members.
In summary, my continued service as VP of Programs offers a combination of proven performance, continuity in leadership, and a genuine commitment to both chapter success and personal growth—making me well-positioned to further advance PMISNC’s mission.
